Accepting an Offer

We Put Our Clients First When Evaluating Each Offer.

The Price Is Not Always Right

The highest offer isn't always the right offer. Every proposal comes with its own set of terms, conditions, and contingencies that can shape the true value of a deal. At REMAX Real Estate Results, we bring the expertise and industry insight needed to help you evaluate every offer with clarity—so you can confidently accept the best terms from the right buyer.

Negotiating To Win

Integrity guides every negotiation we manage. We put your interests first, carefully reviewing each offer to protect your investment while maintaining a positive, professional relationship with the buyer. Our goal is simple: secure results that work in your favor, every time.

The Initial Agreement and Deposit

Once terms are agreed upon, you and the buyer will sign the Purchase Agreement, and the buyer will submit a deposit into escrow. Escrow is managed by a neutral third party—typically a title company or attorney—responsible for holding and distributing all funds tied to the sale until closing.

Requirements for a legally binding agreement vary by state, but they often include considerations: deposits held in escrow pending the fulfillment of contingencies outlined in the Purchase Agreement.

To keep the process moving smoothly, we recommend the following:

  • Document everything. Counter-offers, verbal agreements, and addendums should always be recorded and signed by both parties. We handle the drafting and provide copies to keep everyone aligned and protected.
  • Stay on schedule. Every contingency in the Purchase Agreement comes with a timeline. Meeting these deadlines keeps negotiations productive and ensures neither party falls into breach. We provide proactive updates and guidance at every step, so you always know what's next.

Tips For Selling Your Home

Deep Clean icon

Give Your House a Deep Clean

First impressions mean everything. Before listing, give your home a deep clean — toilets, surfaces, floors, rugs, and bathrooms all deserve attention. Consider bringing in the professionals to make sure your home shows in its very best condition.

Declutter icon

Declutter The Home

A clutter-free home lets buyers focus on the space itself, not the piles of mail, laundry, or everyday mess. Buyers want to picture their own belongings in your home, not get distracted by clutter. A little decluttering and organizing goes a long way toward making a lasting impression.

Call a Handyman

Take care of repairs before you list. When buyers walk through a well-maintained home, they feel confident and at ease, knowing it has been properly cared for every step of the way.
